Caution
About tire installation
Having your tires installed by a professional bike mechanic is recommended. Please use suitable tires. Before installation, please check if the tire tread is in the right direction.
About tire pressure
The most important consideration is the max recommended tire pressure labeled on the side of the tire. Do NOT exceed this value.
The following four charts contain the recommended pressures for riding under normal conditions. Smoother roads can allow for tires to be run at slightly higher pressures. Slightly lower pressures are recommended for rough or bumpy surfaces.
For tubeless tires, please make sure they are installed correctly and properly sealed. All wheelsets manufactured by EVIGORS are tubeless ready.
About disc brake installation
Please only use standard-sized disc brake rotors.
About the installation and use of rim brake pads
The standard configuration of EVIGORS is cork composite brake pads, which are suitable for riding in dry weather. Riding in wet weather can lead to less efficient braking performance. Please make sure the brake pads are installed in the right position over the brake track. If they are installed incorrectly in the wrong position, it will damage the rim and reduce braking performance.
About weight limits for riders
All wheels manufactured by EVIGORS have a rider weight limit. Weight limits for our wheels are on the wheels’ product pages.
Please do not exceed this weight limit.
About rim brake maintenance
Check brake pad wear monthly. If the grooves in the brake pads have disappeared, it indicates that the brake pads are worn and need to be replaced with new ones. If you need to replace the brake pads, please refer to the wheel brake pads manufacturer’s instructions.Check the wheels braking surface for wear before each ride. Do not ride carbon wheels with a worn braking surface. A worn braking surface may cause rims to fail, resulting in crashes and even serious injury and/or death. Do not ride on wheels if the braking surface is worn, exposing the parallel fibers underneath.
About spoke maintenance
Drive wheelsets use carbon spokes, which like steel spokes, can become deformed or cracked when hit. Please regularly check to see if the surface of the spokes has any damage. If the spokes have been damaged or are cracked, please contact us to get replacements.
Wheel trueness
Please regularly check whether or not your wheels are true. whether the wheel rotation is in the initial state. All wheel sets are set to be within 0.2mm of true at the factory. If the wheel wobbles, please ask a professional mechanic to adjust the tension of the spokes.
About motor maintenance
We recommend you periodically check whether the motor is normal or ask a professional mechanic to help you check your motor. When cleaning your wheels, do not use a pressure washer in order to avoid damage to the motor.During the warranty period, if the motor encounters problems, we will replace or repair it for you.If the motor is beyond the warranty period, we will also provide you with repairs, but it may require an additional payment.
